OUR INSTAGRAMERS GALLERY IS CELEBRATING IT’S 6th ANNIVERSARY
.
After 6 years our Instagramers Gallery is consolidated as the only permanent exhibition in the world dedicated to visual trends and creative concepts from Instagram. Instagramers and the Telefónica Foundation were the first to transfer the potential of Instagram to a physical space. This exhibition exists of snapshots from content creators, “amateur” and professional photographers, documentary makers, artists, illustrators, travellers, famous public figures, youtubers, etc. whose accounts somehow represent different trends or concepts on Instagram.
The project is coordinated by its creator Phil González, founder of the worldwide network of Instagram fans known as Instagramers (aka @igers) and Kimberly Sunster (Social Media & Events) and the fantastic team of Espacio Fundación Telefónica.
Phil González explains that his project “originated with the goal of becoming the world’s first virtual gallery of mobile photography and a potential benchmark exhibition space for thousands of talented mobile phone photographers and content creators. The Telefónica Foundation has enabled us to go one step further by opening this Instagramers Gallery in Madrid”.

OUR ARTISTS 2020 SELECTION
.
Our Instagramers Gallery team has selected around twenty Instagram accounts that will be exhibited in 2020, during twelve months. The exhibition consists of more than 200 photos that cover five continents and different kind of styles. It is a permanent exhibition, visited by over thousands of people from all over the world. The Instagramers Gallery is located in the coffeehouse area at the ground floor at the Espacio Fundación Telefónica and visitors can enjoy the exhibition while having a coffee, a snack or something sweet.

IGERS GALLERY SPACE AND EVENTS
.
We have a coffeehouse area on the top floor in the Entrance Hall of the Espacio Fundación Telefónica where you can enjoy the exhibition, meet with your friends in the heart of Madrid or take a small break during your visit to the other exhibitions at the Foundation. We also have, on the lower floor, near the main elevator, an exhibition area where you can see photos exhibited of authors who have participated and won one of our bi-monthly contests.
We invite you to follow our @igersgallery account on Instagram to be informed of all our news, events, contests, so you might be part of next exhibitions.
Last, but not least, three / four times a year, we organize a very practical workshop where photographers and artists come and show us some of their tricks, give us their best advices on how to optimize our Instagram accounts or get creative with new styles.

OUR ANNUAL GET-TOGETHER AND #INSTAMEET

Every summer we organize a great get-together to introduce our new Instagramers Gallery’s artists and a unforgettable Instameet where Phil González interviews different celebrities, actors, artists, journalists and all kind of other Instagram users who share their stories while later, we all go for a drink, a snack and some dancing on the fine tunes of DJ Bombín.

Our Instagramers Gallery is located in the entrance hall of the Espacio Fundación Telefónica, Calle Fuencarral, 3, Madrid (Metro Station: Gran Vía) and is open every day from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 8pm.
